Clearing and demolition services
We size the equipment to the ground. Mulching heads on tight or wooded lots, dozers and excavators on open acreage, and haul trucks to get the material gone:

Clearing for new construction and rural property
On a new build, clearing and grubbing set the tone for the whole project. We strip the footprint clean, save the topsoil in a stockpile for later respreading, take out the root mass instead of just the trunk, and open enough working room for the equipment that follows us. On rural and ranch property, clearing is more often about reclaiming ground — pushing back encroaching pine, opening pasture and fence lines, and cutting fuel breaks around buildings.
Demolition and cleanup, start to finish
Demolition is not just knocking a building down; it is getting the material off the property and leaving something you can build on. We disconnect and cap utilities in coordination with the providers, take the structure down, break out foundations and slabs, separate what can be recycled, haul the rest to an approved disposal site, then backfill and grade the hole so the site drains and is safe to walk. Older structures may require asbestos or lead assessment before demolition, and we will flag that before we start rather than after.

How much does it cost to clear an acre of land?
Per-acre clearing cost swings widely with tree density and size, terrain, how much of the material can be mulched on site versus hauled off, and whether stumps have to be fully grubbed out or can be ground. A lightly treed, flat acre is a fraction of the cost of a steep acre of mature ponderosa pine. We walk the parcel and price it on what is actually standing there.
What is the difference between clearing and grubbing?
Clearing removes what is above the ground — trees, brush, and standing vegetation. Grubbing removes what is below it — roots, stumps, sod, and organic topsoil. Building on ground that was cleared but never grubbed is a mistake: the buried organic material decomposes and the surface above it settles. Anything that ends up under a structure, a pad, or pavement gets grubbed.
Do you haul the trees and debris away?
Yes. Depending on the site and what you want, material is mulched in place, consolidated into burn piles where burning is legal and permitted, or loaded and hauled off to an approved disposal site. We confirm the disposal plan with you before we start so the cost and the end state are both clear.
Can you demolish a house or an old barn?
Yes. We handle residential and agricultural demolition including foundations and slabs, with utility disconnects coordinated ahead of time and debris hauled off. Structures built before the 1980s may need an asbestos survey before demolition depending on the structure and the jurisdiction, and we will tell you what applies to your building up front.
